Technology and Us: Setting Boundaries, Finding Balance, Fostering Belonging
Join fellow members for our annual Eye Opener, a morning designed to inform, connect and inspire. We’ll gather at The Country Club at Golden Valley for conversation, community and updates on our collective impact. Our speakers will share current research, real-life experiences and policy perspectives on how screen time affects all of us.
Jodi Dworkin is a Professor, Extension Specialist and Interim Department Head in the Department of Family Social Science at the University of Minnesota. She is also a Fellow of the National Council on Family Relations. For more than 20 years, Dworkin has studied how adolescents, young adults and parents use technology and navigate digital life.
Grant Eustice is a father of three boys (ages 5, 7 and 9) and has been a teacher for ten years. He is a co-lead for MN Unplugged, which is focused on restoring real-world connections and building strong communities across Minnesota.
Michelle Gustafson has been a licensed school counselor for 20 years. She is a co-lead for MN Unplugged, which is focused on restoring real-world connections and building strong communities across Minnesota.
Sarah Langford is a pediatric nurse practitioner who enjoys working with patients and families to help them thrive. She works with children with developmental and behavioral concerns and uses approaches such as medication management, behavior modification and hypnosis to help families.
Amy Saldanha is the founder and CEO of kiddywampus, a specialty toy retailer and destination for families with three locations in the Twin Cities. Before founding kiddywampus in 2006, Amy practiced law as a civil litigator in Chicago, followed by stints in operations and talent management at several digital start-ups. Amy joined GIVING WoMN in 2026.
